My name is Becky. Let me start out by saying, I’m a terrible writer. I’m writing simply to get things out and maybe help me process and figure out the crazy that is my life.
This blog is about my life. Learning to embrace my awkward becoming an adult stage. Dealing with transitions in school, work, and family/friends. A large portion is about my weight loss/fitness, and as of now 1/2 marathon training…oh good lord help me. But it also has random blips of my life. I’ll try to update once a week, but as it happens life sometimes gets in the way.
As of now: I graduated from GVSU in april 2014 with a BS in biomedical science and psychology and chemistry minors. Currently, a graduate student who is also a teaching assistant at my university. Once I finish that I’ll be applying to medical schooled. I do research and I work side jobs to pay the bills. I’m a runner, and by runner I mean slow as can be and considered probably jogging by some. But hey, forward is a motion right? Embrace the 10minute mile! Never thought I’d self identify as a runner, but hey….here we are. If you have any questions, please ask me in a comment. I do try to respond to everyone. Even if its just a thank you. =]
